1. Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of ortopiazza.com (the “Site”), operated by ORTO SANTA MONICA LLC, doing business as Orto Piazza (“Orto Piazza,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
These terms cover the website. Your visit to the restaurant is governed by our house policies and by applicable law.

3. Using the Site
You may use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes: reading about the restaurant, viewing menus, and contacting us.
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
- Copy, scrape, harvest, or republish Site content except as permitted in Section 4
- Use bots, crawlers, or automated tools to access the Site, other than standard search engine indexing
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system
- Introduce malware, or interfere with the Site’s operation or with anyone else’s use of it
- Submit false, misleading, abusive, threatening, or harassing content through any form on the Site
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Site
We may suspend or block access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice.
4. Our content
Everything on the Site — text, photographs, menus, recipes, graphics, logos, the Orto Piazza name and marks, page design, and code — is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may view the Site, and print or download pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Everything else requires our written permission: reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, commercial use, or use of our name and marks.
Press and media may use our photographs and logo for editorial coverage of the restaurant with attribution. Ask us first at ortosantamonica@gmail.com if you are unsure.
5. Menus, prices, and hours
Menus, dishes, prices, and hours shown on the Site are for general information and change often. We cook seasonally, so items come and go. Nothing on the Site is an offer, a guarantee of availability, or a binding price. The menu and prices in the restaurant at the time of your visit control.
We try to keep the Site current and accurate. We do not warrant that it is free of errors or omissions, and we may correct anything at any time without notice.
6. Food allergies and dietary information
Any allergen, ingredient, or nutritional information on the Site is general and may not reflect what is prepared on a given day. Our kitchen handles gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, shellfish, and other allergens, and we cannot guarantee that any dish is free of cross-contact.
If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, tell your server before ordering. Do not rely on the Site. Consuming raw or undercooked meat, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
7. Reservations
Reservations are booked and managed through OpenTable, a third-party service with its own terms and privacy policy. When you book, you are subject to those terms as well as ours.
A reservation holds a table for a limited time. We do our best to seat you promptly, but we cannot guarantee a specific table, seating area, or exact seating time. We may release a table if your party is significantly late, and we may cancel or modify a reservation when we have to. Large-party, cancellation, and no-show policies are stated at the time of booking and apply as written.
8. What you send us
When you submit a message through our contact form, or send us photographs, reviews, or other material, you keep ownership of it. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display that material in connection with operating and promoting the restaurant, and you confirm you have the right to grant that license.
Do not send us confidential information or anything you do not want us to use. We are not obligated to keep submissions confidential, to respond to them, or to compensate you for them.
9. Links to other sites
The Site links to third parties, including OpenTable, Facebook, X, Instagram, Google, and others. We do not control those services, we do not endorse their content, and we are not responsible for them. Your dealings with them are between you and them.
10. Accessibility

11. No warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses, or that any information on it is accurate, complete, or current.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORTO SANTA MONICA LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ORTO SANTA MONICA LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
15. Disputes
If you have a problem, contact us first at ortosantamonica@gmail.com or (310) 361-9290. Most things get resolved with a phone call. If we cannot resolve it informally within 30 days, you and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and each of us consents to the jurisdiction of those courts.
This section does not prevent either of us from seeking relief in small claims court.
16. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Check back from time to time.
17. General
Severability. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest stays in effect.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site, and replace any prior understanding on that subject.
Assignment. You may not assign these terms. We may assign them in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.
